Healthy chocolate mousse
Preparation time: 60 min
This chocolate mousse is my dessert evergreen. I make it just to put in a glass or as part of another dessert. It’s light, sweet and yet without added sugar. There are only 3 ingredients – bananas, avocado and unroasted cocoa powder.
And what does this chocolate mousse contain? The avocado provides us with vitamins B, C, E and K which can be absorbed efficiently thanks to the fat. It also contains potassium, magnesium, manganese and a large amount of fibre. The banana contains, among other things, large amounts of potassium, magnesium and manganese. Unroasted cocoa is a very important antioxidant. It contains magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium, copper, zinc and manganese, as well as B vitamins, vitamin C and E. This dessert thus helps us to replenish a lot of vitamins and minerals and at the same time satisfy our palate.
TIP: prefer unroasted cocoa powder or unroasted cocoa beans. By roasting cacao loses a lot of valuable nutrients. An example is Dutch cocoa powder which is chemically treated and heated to give it a milder taste.
